An important advantage of a TB-250H/C, TB-500C  and TB-HVOFPressure Booster is that it can be installed right in the area where high pressure natural gas will be used. Just connect to a low pressure natural gas pipe already in your building and make high pressure natural gas readily available.


Many natural gas compressors must be installed outdoors with lengthy piping required to bring high pressure gas service to the point where it is used. A G-TEC installation is simple and less expensive.


G-TEC systems also do not require special ventilation or other expensive site preparation to be installed in a normal working environment. TB-250H/C and TB-500H/C Pressure Boosters are quiet and will fit right into your workspace.

G-TEC Pressure Boosters connect to a low pressure natural gas pipe that is already in your building and boost pressure to 150 psi.


The system has 2 gas inlets, one if your building supply pressure is less than 1 psi and a second for utility natural gas pressure between 1-5 psi.


On the high pressure outlet many G-TEC users will install a regulator to set pressure between 1-150 psi or the system can be connected to a downstream process at the full output pressure of 150 psi.

TB-HVOF Torch Boosters raise gas pressure to 150 psi/10 bar with a gas flow rate up to 500 scfh. While normally used for High Velocity Oxy-Fuel Thermal Spray applications TB-HVOF is suitable for any application requiring high pressure with large flow volumes.

Single cabinet includes both Booster and Cooler functions and measures 50 1/2” wide, 33” deep and 32” tall.

Weight is 550 lb/249 kg. Power requirement is 208V single phase 60 hz 30 amp iin North America/230V single phase 50 hz 30 amp worldwide.

Supply gas should be ¼ psi/.017 bar to 5 psi/.33 bar in a minimum 1 1/2” diameter pipe.

TB-500C Torch Boosters modify Standard Duty TB-500 Torch Boosters to add a Cooler Module.


TB-500C Torch Boosters are suitable for pressures up to 60 psi. This Torch Booster uses 2 sets of flexible hoses that connect the Booster to the Cooler. Pumps in the Cooler Module cycle compressor oil into the Cooler, remove excess heat then return the oil to the Torch Booster. Electrical power is slaved from the Torch Booster and the Cooler Module starts when the Torch Booster starts. Both cabinets measure 28” wide, 24” deep and 20” tall. The Cooler Module weighs 157 pounds and can be stacked on top of the Torch Booster to minimize footprint space.


Electric service is 208V single phase 30 amp 60 Hz in North America or 230V single phase 30 amp 50 Hz worldwide. Low pressure supply pipe must be at least 1 1/2” diameter.


TB-250C and H Torch Boosters modify Standard Duty TB-250 Torch Boosters to add a Cooler Module.


TB-250C Torch Boosters are suitable for pressures up to 60 psi; TB-250H Torch Boosters are suitable for applications between 60-150 psi. Flow rate is 300 cubic feet per hour.


These Torch Boosters use a set of flexible hoses that connect the Booster to the Cooler. A pump in the Cooler Module cycles oil between the Booster and the Cooler to remove excess heat from the Booster. Electrical power is slaved from the Torch Booster and the Cooler Module starts when the Torch Booster starts. The Booster cabinets measure 28” wide, 24” deep and 20” tall. The Cooler Module is 20” wide, 18” deep and 16” tall, weighs 107 pounds and can be stacked on top of the Torch Booster to minimize footprint space. Electric service is 208V single phase 30 amp 60 Hz in North America or 230V single phase 30 amp 50 Hz worldwide. Low pressure supply pipe must be at least 1 1/2” diameter.

When you need natural gas at pressures between 60 - 150 psi or you plan to run test cycles of 24 hours for several days and weeks at a time a Heavy Duty Pressure Booster is recommended. These Pressure Boosters add a Compressor Cooler Module that keeps the system temperature low and extends system lifespan.

TB-125C Torch Boosters modify Standard Duty TB-125 Torch Boosters to add a Cooler Module. Outlet pressure is up to 25 psi with a flow rate of 150 cubic feet per hour.

TB-125C Torch Booster uses two cabinets, each measuring 20” wide, 18” deep and 16” tall. The Cooler Module weighs 105 lb and can be stacked on top of the Torch Booster module. Power requirement is 120V 20 amp. Low pressure supply pipe should be minimum 1” diameter.
