G-TEC Torch Boosters and Refuelers are designed and manufactured to IAS U.S. Requirements for Natural Gas Compresssor Systems No. 2-87 and CSA/CAN Certification Requirement for Natural Gas Torch Boosters CR 90-010.  These standards were developed around the G-TEC equipment.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all gas equipment be approved prior to iinstallation. G-TEC TB-15, TB-30 and TB-125 Torch Boosters have Approval # G3-0407-370; all other G-TEC Torch Boosters have Approval # G3-1007-117.

The New York City Fire Department and Department of Buildings Approve G-TEC Torch Boosters for Jewelry Manufacturing

The New York City Fire Department has given blanket Approval for G-TEC TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters for installation in New York City. These systems have been assigned Certificate of Approval # 5120 - Read about the requirements for installing TB-15 and TB-30 Torch Boosters in New York City.

G-TEC TB-60, TB-125, TB-250 and TB-500 Torch Boosters are also Approved for installation in New York City but require a Site Specific Certificate or Approval. This means the Fire Department will want to inspect the location where the Torch Booster will be installed to see if any special conditions must be specified for safe operation.
