DM-60 Refueler/Torch Booster Description
DM-60 Torch Booster/Refueler can fill adsorbed natural gas cylinders and supply high pressure natural gas directly to torches, shop manifolds and automated torch equipment (although not both at the same time).
DM-60 combines the performance of the Refueler 60 Cylinder Filling System and a TB-60 Torch Booster in a single cabinet. When filling cylinders DM-60 operates at 1 cubic foot per minute and can fill from 1 to 4 cylinders simultaneously. As a Torch Booster DM-60 supplies natural gas at up to 25 psi at a flow rate of 60 cubic feet per hour. A built-in regulator lets users set pressure between 1-25 psi on the Torch Booster side. Users can switch between Torch Booster and Refueler modes.
Typical Applications
DM-60 is often used in large company maintenance and repair shops where work is done both in the shop and remotely in the building. DM-60 connects to a cutting, brazing or heating torch for in-shop use or fills an Adsorbed Natural Gas Cylinder to take natural gas to distant areas of the building.
Small fabrication shops connect an in-shop torch for cutting, brazing or heating then use a G-TEC cylinder to jobs which must be done in the yard.
Technical Description and Installation
DM-60 is compact, 20" W x 18" D x 16" T and weighs about 100 pounds. Electric requirement is 120V 20 amp in North America or 230V 50Hz 20 amp internationally. It is quiet, does not require any special site preparation and can be installed "anywhere" that is consistent with local codes and regulations for cylinder filling. There should be 12" of space on all sides of the cabinet for air flow cooling and scheduled maintenance access.
DM-60 comes with a 5' flexible hose and shutoff valve to connect to the building low pressure gas pipe. Gas supply should be in a minimum 3/4" diameter pipe that ends in a male 3/4" tee.
