Hi performance with a G-TEC Natural Gas Torch Booster for your NC Tool Forge
Replace propane with high pressure natural gas right from your standard utility natural gas pipeline!
A G-TEC Torch Booster raises utility natural gas service to 6-8 psi for the best performance
from your NC Tool forge
Hi-pressure natural gas is the right fuel for your forge !
When you use high pressure natural gas you will never run out of fuel because you are connected right to the gas utility. No more propane tanks to lug back and forth to refill...you won’t run out of gas in the middle of a task
Get that unpleasant propane odor out of your shop
If you are in a building where propane is not allowed you should know that G-TEC Torch Boosters are welcomed in buildings that prohibit propane tanks - your Fire Marshal (and your insurance company) will like you better if you have a G-TEC Torch Booster
Best of all, for equal heat performance natural gas costs a lot less than propane. If you pay $ 75 for a 100# propane tank it would cost less than $ 20 to get the same heat with natural gas!

I love the G-TEC and recommend it to everyone. - Jodie Bliss
Select the right G-TEC Torch Booster for your NC Tool forge...
Each burner on an NC Tool forge can use between 29-47 cubic feet of natural gas per hour depending on the pressure setting. Use this chart to determine your gas flow requirement. Multiply the gas consumption per burner times the number of burners on your forge to determine total gas flow demand.
Gas pressure to burner - natural gas consumption in cubic feet per hour
6 psi - 29 cf/hr
8 psi - 33.5 cf/hr
10 psi - 37.5 cf/hr
12 psi - 42 cf/hr
15 psi - 47 cf/hr
Many G-TEC customers report excellent performance with their NC Tool Forge with 8 psi gas supply pressure at the forge and the following Torch Booster recommendations are based on 8 psi gas supply from the Booster to the forge . Contact G-TEC at 800-451-8294 to discuss the right Torch Booster if you plan supply pressure greater than 8 psi to your forge.
