Whether you have one torch or a dozen we have the right Natural Gas Torch Booster for you!
Torch Boosters connect to a utility natural gas pipe and boost pressure as high as 150 psi/10 bar for direct supply to torches, shop manifolds, cutting tables, burners and other natural gas fueled equipment. No cylinders to change, no on-site gas storage - never run out of fuel gas! G-TEC Torch Boosters are welcomed in buildings where cylinders of acetylene, propane and other fuels are prohibited.
Standard Duty Torch Boosters
Standard Duty Torch Boosters are designed to run up to 16 hours a day in environments where ambient temperature is between 40F - 90F, maximum working pressure is up to 45 psi and where occasional down time, such as after an electrical storm, is acceptable.
TB-15 / TB-30 Torch Boosters elevate city gas pressure up to 25 psi at a flow rate of 15 cfh (TB-15) or 40 cfh (TB-30). TB-15 is suitable for a single small brazing torch such as is used by jewelers or a minor class lamp working torch; TB-30 will fuel a single brazing torch or a single cutting torch for material up to 3" thick.
TB-60 / TB-125 Torch Boosters elevate city gas pressure up to 25 psi at a flow rate of 60 cfh (TB-60) or 125 cfh (TB-125). TB-60 is suitable for up to 2 cutting or brazing torches while TB-125 is suitable for up to 4 brazing or cutting torches. Capacity varies by torch type being used - please contact G-TEC at 716-831-9695 to discuss your equipment.
When using Messer torches TB-60 capacity is 1 torch and TB-125 capacity is 2 torches depending on thickness of material being cut. Click for more information.
DM-60 Torch Booster/Refueler is two pressure booster systems in one cabinet. As a Torch Booster it raises gas pressure to 25 psi with a flow rate of 60 cf/hr and is suitable for up to 2 cutting or brazing torches. As a Refueler it fills G-TEC Adsorbed Natural Gas Cylinders at 60 cf/hr.
TB-250 / TB-500 Torch Boosters elevate city gas pressure up to 45 psi at a flow rate of 300 cfh (TB-250) or 500 cfh (TB-500). TB-250 is suitable for up to 6 cutting or brazing torches while TB-500 is suitable for up to 12 brazing or cutting torches. Torch capacity varies by torch type being used - please contact G-TEC at 716-831-9695 to discuss your equipment.
When using Messer torches TB-250 capacity is 4 torches and TB-500 capacity is 8-10 torches depending on thickness or material being cut. Click for more information.

Heavy Duty Natural Gas Torch Boosters
TB-125C Torch Boosters boost gas pressure as high as 25 psi with a flow rate of up to 125 cfh and are used when the daily operation is more than 2 shifts, up to 24 hours, when ambient temperature is regularly greater that 90F or when downtime is very expensive.
When Torch Boosters are used in an environment where ambient temperature is consistently above 90F/32C, where the duty cycle is more than 16 hours per day or where the application requires pressure greater than 60 psi a Heavy Duty Torch Booster is recommended. Heavy Duty Torch Boosters add a Cooler Module to the Standard Duty Torch Booster that keeps the compressor temperature low, extends system lifespan and eliminates the 3 hour cool-down cycle that is common when a Standard Duty system is turned off.
Does your application require 100% uptime?
Customers located in parts of the country where electrical storms cause momentary power interruptions should consider a Heavy Duty Torch Booster because once turned off a Standard Duty Torch Booster begins a 3-hour cool-down cycle and will not restart until the cycle is complete. The Cooler Module removes residual heat from the Booster and eliminates the cool-down cycle. Heavy Duty Torch Boosters will restart as soon as power is restored.
TB-250C and TB-250H Torch Boosters boost gas pressure as high as 60 psi (TB-250C) and 150 psi (TB-250H) with a flow rate of 300 cfh and are used when daily operation is more than 2 shifts up to 24 hours, when ambient temperature regularly is greater than 90F or when downtime is very expensive.
TB-500C Torch Boosters boost gas pressure as high as 60 psi with a flow rate of 500 cfh and are used when daily operation is more that 2 shifts up to 24 hours, when ambient temperature regularly is greater than 90F or when downtime is very expensive.
TB-HVOF Torch Boosters are designed for High Velocity Oxy-Fuel thermal spray applications using high pressure natural gas at pressure up to 150 psi with flow rates of 500 cfh. TB-HVOF integrates the Booster and Cooler operations in a single cabinet with an adjustable pressure control from 1 -150 psi.
